Surrounded by ancient dry stone walls, immersed in the holly oak groves and centennial olive groves, and protected by the historical Vereto hill, we are pleased to announce the rebirth of Masseria Palane, an ancient residence which, following a detailed restoration, has rediscovered all of its original splendor. Preservation and enhancement of the ancient salentino architecture, 18th century cross vaults, chianche (local limestone pavements), tufo stone, ancient lime washed walls, and deep wells for the collection of rainwater are only a few of the various elements thanks to which our guest will experience the magic of the past with the comforts of today. Masseria Palane’s pleasant and relaxing environment features a typical Mediterranean garden of the past, perfectly integrated with a modern saltwater heated infinity pool and a relaxation area. A perfect combination where our guests may enjoy a delicious cocktail. Masseria Palane is located in Patù, a small village not too far away Santa Maria di Leuca, the southernmost point of Apulia. A magical setting and point of intersaction of the Adriatic Sea and the Ionian Sea. A stratigical point if one wants to discover the white beaches and crystal clear sea, the cliffs full of mysterious caves of our wonderful Salento region. A region which is enriched by its baroque towns such as Lecce, Maglie, Nardò (a unique baroque which is actually know as Barocco Leccese) and many other equally important or fortified towns like Gallipoli and Otranto. The beautiful countryside to explore by walking or cycling along streets surrounded by secular olive trees and ancient stone walls.
