A few steps from Masseria Palane, we discover Santa Maria di Leuca which is the most extreme point of the heel of Italy and is a small jewel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and allows itself to be embraced by its waters that make it unique and fascinating. In 1990 the Sanctuary was elected to the minor basilica and since then the devotion towards the Madonna de Finibus Terrae has been increasing, so much so that today it is the destination of many pilgrims from all over the world.
